The Skead Collection, originally donated to the Museum by Mrs Margaret Collins (Skead’s daughter), is housed at the Herbarium, and consists of three (3) archival boxes containing photographs and text (including notes made by Dr Skead). These photographs and writings, dating from the 20th century, mostly describe plants and trees of notable interest, more so in reflecting the plants found in a specific area during a specific period (which is significant if the areas have been developed or destroyed since the photographs were taken).
