This collection focuses on the core of the work of environment and sustainability education researchers, namely transformative education processes of different kinds. These include integrating a strong focus on ethics into our research, which includes ethics-led transformative learning. Transformative, transgressive and transdisciplinary learning is a core focus of the work of the ELRC. Decolonial praxis and research is also a key focus of the work. Important areas of practice such as curriculum transformation, transformation of pedagogy and assessment practice, and transformation of learning support materials is also a key focus of the work of many environmental educators. With the emergence of digitalisation, and e-learning, a number of environmental educators are also developing e-learning tools and are advancing processes of using digital tools and approaches for environment and sustainability education
