- Description
- "Flowers, flowers for a child to play with. My father died tragically at Makwiani, my mother stoops in the shade of the wood. This music is for worship at Marange." The sad death of his father meant nothing to the children only like a flower to play with. Now his mother walks in the shadow of death, (literally walks bowed down) in the shade of the trees. His music in this song would be used in the worship or devotion of the souls (Mashawi) were he at home, at Marange. Personal laments with mbira dza WaNdau and deze resonator.
