- Description
- "A Sante-you! We have come to count up. Pumpkins, Cucumbers. We have come to count up." This is a song from a story about monkeys which used to come regularly to Sante's garden to eat his crops. After he died the monkeys mourned him as they would then have nothing left to eat. Like most African stories, this one appears to offer the obvious moral. Story song.
