- The drums are weighted with castor oil bean paste. It is removed from the drum head immediately after playing, or, they say, it would rot the membrane. The tuning of the drums has to be done afresh each time. "Misili killed a buck, so the people were pleased to have the meat." Likhuba dance with eight tuned drums.
