- Description
- The singers were daubed entirely with white clay and were wearing traditional costume, leather skirts. rows of tubular grass girdles or, in some cases, girdles made of short lengths of reed strung together and grass masks shaped like screens. Two or three women wore deep fringes of reed over their leather skirts. "Ho, stop it! Ho, ho, what is that? She wishes to enter the initiation school. She is just a dog."
