- Waikova is a beautiful and highly coloured bird, they explained, but is more likely to be the common crow. A Budongo tune of this name was also recorded at Jinja, two years later. Sets of these instruments are played by a number of young men together. For over 400 years this type of music has facinated Africans and possibly for far longer.
