Based on the findings, the treatise proposes several recommendations for improving the legal framework governing resignations in South Africa, including enacting clearer statutory guidelines, encouraging consistent judicial rulings, adopting best practices from the United Kingdom’s legal system, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
