- Description
- "They are going to ask for rain, they have been struck by lightening, they are going to look for rain. Long, long rain." The singers were a group of elderly Hurutshe women. This is a very old song, sung in time of drought when a deputation of the people would go to the Chief, asking him to send a messenger to his rain-maker. Rain song.
