Typically convention centres tend to be large introverted buildings, lacking an engagement with its surroundings and a true sense of place. The study will aim to capture the unique essence, identity, and the spirit of place, which will be key to the development of the brief and expression of the building. The investigation and analysis will bring about a design proposal that aims to respond to the relevant issues and topic of the treatise in a meaningful, sensible, and appropriate architectural manner.
