- Description
- This type of singing accompanies the Kwaya dance, a speciality of the Shangaan tribesmen from the lower Limpopo regions of Mozambique. "Kwaya" (taken from the English word "choir") combines clever rhythmic singing of blank verse with equally clever rhythmic strutting. Kwaya topical song.
