- Most of the women were married, wearing the beaded, tubular headring of the Mpondo married women. One young girl wore a mass of bead choker necklaces in the favourite Mpondo colours, sky-blue and white. The married women wore their hair in a mass of long fine twists or plaits, and wore a number of bead necklaces. Party song for young people with clapping.
