- Description
- The scale of these two instruments is not clear from these examples. It would appear to be heptatonic in one case and hexatonic or even pentatonic in the order. The fact that an adequate number on intervals exist in the lower octave and are not complete in either, argues an ablity to think heptatonically. The scale was as follows;- 404, 344, 308, 296, 252, 236, 202, 180, 160, 118, 101, 90. Bitanda kakunda dance with two Chizanshi box mbira, 2 basket rattles, whistle and hand clapping.
