- Two singers were doing a pantomime of pulling a canoe over the sand. The munga tree is the one used for making canoes and appears to be the tamarind which grows to a considerable height and girth in the alluvial soils near the Zambezi and its small tributaries in the valley. In this part of the valley, very few canoes are used and they are not large: 20-30 feet only. Canoe launching song (Bgwato-canoe)
