- The drum called here called Gayanda is similar if not identical to the one called Musuntu which is used for the Makundu dance. The reason for this variation in naming was not explained. Mayanze drinking songs with a Gayanda drum, hand beaten, the Gayanda being conical, single, open, pegged with 3 sticks tapped on the side of the drum.
