- Description
- A diviner arrived in person but declined to sing with the women who were all sitting around on the floor of the hut, about 80 of them. The married women were more soberly dressed than the young unmarried ones and wore their headclothes in the more usual Xhosa 'pile' of cloth on the head, producing a large loose turban-like effect. Diviner's song, with clapping.
