- This kind of song, they say, was sung at the gathering to remember a dead person. The Chief's towell was a cloth which was wrapped around the blade of a short spear which the chief held in his hand in order to wipe the perspiration off his face while he danced. "Who took the chief's towell, Oyayo! who ever it is, bring back Oyayo! look everywhere where the chief's people are, until you find it." Chitoto obsequies after funeral with small iron bells.
