- When a man dies they shave his head, hence the call for a razor when the moment of death seems near. "Go bring a razor. My father is dying and he he is crying too much today." The Nudewa drum was cylindrical with a rectangular hole cue in the side, with three feet. The Kachisi drum was conical, open ended. Ilala dance with two drums (Mudewa and Kachisi).
