- The praiser was dressed in skins, and wore leather breeches and a skin cap. He was holding a horse-hair switch in one hand and a stick wound round with blue plastic tape. Several women interjected cries and exclamations. The old man explained that his praises were in honour of his totem, the monkey. Praise verse.
