- The Teso people, a Nilo-Hamitic tribe, are pastoral and like others of their way of life, used to be given to raiding cattle from their neighbours. The Gishu tribe were among those raided and in this song they urge the raided to get their own back from the raiders.Patriotic song with Litungu seven string bowl lyre, pinned and Mungiri leg bells.
