- Description
- This dance is usually performed by both men and girls. It is a good example of the simple dance song and rhythmic clapping which accompany the solo stampings performed in the centre of the circle of dancers by individuals who come into the ring one at a time for this purpose. This rhythm and song was adapted by Andrew Tracey for the musical show "Wait a Minim" in January-December 1962. Dance song for the Chiturirano dance with clapping.
