- The item was collected from Ibika in the Butterworth District, showcasing an exquisite waistband that highlights the skill and artistry of its creator. Crafted from a robust fisherman's cord, the waistband features an intricate design woven with striking white amaso beads that contrast beautifully with deep navy accents. These vibrant colours are framed by lively turquoise highlights that add an extra layer of charm to the piece. Draping down from the waistband are long, elaborately beaded cords, each one adorned with delicate tassels that dance gracefully with every movement.
