The sexes were divided dancing at right angles to each other and the girls kept up a shrill high descant. The men danced in a circle as tightly packed sardines. The main feature of the boys' costume were the immense number of strands of beads wound about the hips to a depth of 18 or more. The edges of the blankets were also beaded. The girls also wore three swathings of beads around the hips. 3 Gubura dances for young men.
