In the second part of the song they say: "The person who grinds the corn for the beer has a lot to say."- Some of the women had painted their faces with pale yellow ochre.- They wore pale blue blankets, were lavishly decorated with beads, mostly in sky blue and white, wore calf length beaded skirts, and a great many brass wire bracelets.   • Description: The Lesiba is a wind blown stringed instrument, mostly played by herd boys as they herd their cattle on the hills. It consists of a slightly bent stick of abour 36-40 long. Along one side is strained a string, sometimes of horse hair or sinew, to one end of which is attached a section of fowl's quill.   • Description: The performers were all about 18 or thereabouts. This group wore red blankets with rows of white braid on the girls' skirts. The girls wore very attractive circlets of beads on the head, passing over the forehead and bead chin straps, also a head band passing over the top of the head and round the base of the skull. The sexes were divided dancing at right angles to each other and the girls kept up a shrill high descant. The men danced in a circle as tightly packed sardines. The main feature of the boys' costume were the immense number of strands of beads wound about the hips to a depth of 18 or more. The edges of the blankets were also beaded. The girls also wore three swathings of beads around the hips. 3 Gubura dances for young men.
