- Description: The lute is made of a 4 and a half inch section of the lower part of an Ankole ox horn. These cattle have very large horns. The oval shaped membrane is python skin pegged into the horn and the bridge is reed. The string is of raffia palm. "My love, Thereza you come from a good family. I love you so much."
